ABOUT ME
Before I learned to read, my parents would often find me in the corner of my childhood bedroom holding a book and reading quietly to my twin brother. I turned the pages as he followed along, but I didn't know any of the words. I would create the stories as I went along. From the age of four, I have been a passionate storyteller.

I graduated from the University of Richmond in December 2019 with a major in Journalism and a minor in Rhetoric and Communications. I have been exploring my future career path options by finding positions in marketing, journalism and public relations.

At my university, I started out as a news and features writer for the independent student newspaper, The Collegian, and eventually became the features editor and columns editor. I also covered the Virginia General Assembly Session and Richmond City Council Government as a staff writer for The Capital News Service through one of my classes, public affairs reporting.

During my summers off, I became involved in all three of the fields I am interested in. In the summer of 2016, I worked as a marketing intern at LexJet Inc. In 2017, I was an editorial intern at Sarasota Magazine. During the summer of 2018, I combined my passion for writing and my love for the ocean, and worked as the sole communications and media relations intern at Mote Marine Laboratory and Aquarium.
